OK Blue Jay was founded by Toronto Blue Jays fan Andrew W. Stewart. The idea behind the site was to give baseball fans across the world one website to get up-to-the-minute news, networking, and a way of commuincating about the team. The name OK Blue Jay came to Andrew while he was doing the 7th inning stretch. I said to myself, I’m an OK Blue Jay and that’s how the idea fabricated. I am a huge Blue Jays fan and hope to see another pennant above Jays Vision before too long. If you would like to contact me regarding this site or other OK Blue Jay ideas, I would be happy to read them and put them on the site. On behalf of myself and the Toronto Blue Jays fans who made this site possible thank you for visiting OK Blue Jay and enjoy your experience.
hey there,
I hate to leave this message here but I can’t find another way to contact you. I am looking for a HUGE blue jay fan that will understand what I have and understand the worth of it. My grandfather was a top level exec. at Xerox in Toronto when the Blue Jays started in 1977. Because Xerox bought awesome box seats the top people at Xerox where all given their opening game ticket encased/sealed in glass. From what I remember I think there were only 10-25 tickets given out like this. My grandfather has passed on but gave me the 100% mint condition ticket. I called a few places and looked online and they want $100-150 dollars for it. That is crap! This ticket is not used, it is sealed and in mint condition.
You may ask, why would I give it up…I am not saying I would. What I do know is that there are BIGGER fans than me that would love a slice of the history of the Blue Jays. For the right price…maybe I would give it up…maybe.
If you are interested or know someone who is please contact me jdamude@cccmidland.com
This ticket has had limited sunlight and is in 100% MINT condition – again…it is sealed in glass. I am in communication with the Blue Jays and Xerox to find out who sealed it…I would love to know the history on that. Let me know, God bless!
