April 5, 2010:
What a great first six innings for the season opener espcially when Marcum went 6 and a bit with no hit ball. Although Frasor made a few mistakes, hopefully we can make it up tonight in the 2nd game vs. Texas. Tallet gets the nod and I’m hoping he doesn’t have his socks sewed to his pants. Congrats to Vernon Wells and Adam Lind on homering. I’ll have more updates following tonights game and stay tuned to read more blogs from myself.
Ocotober 19, 2010:
Sorry I haven’t blogged much this past season. I was at many games, but have to get back to blogging on OKBJ. I feel the season went very well for the Jays considering the divison we’re in and the players we lost. Doc wasn’t back and I must admit though, we did better than expected without him. Jose went yard 54 times. How bout that! The big loss of course is the skipper, Cito Gaston. Paul Beeston described him the best in that video and I believe the city of Toronto owes him a great deal for all he brought. Anyway baseball’s on tonight. I’m prediciting a Phillies vs. Texas series with a Sweep from Philly in the big showdown. Be back later to blog more.

The excitment builds for Spring Training as with less than a month to go for pitchers and catchers reporting to camp, it’s an exciting time to see all the last minute signings and trades before the competion for opening day starters begins. Spring Training has always been a big part of the baseball season to me as you turn on the TV to hear that crack of maple on the leather ball, and the sun shining down on the warm green grass, what could a baseball fan want more. I will keep this blog going this season as I’m sure for those who are reading it would like to share their opionons. Anyway, I’m off to watch Sports Centre. Stay warm tonight.

Well folks, Pitchers and Catchers are reporting to camp in less than 8 days. JP, Drabek and Ricky all had dinner together last night which I’m sure had them joking. I’ll be covering the season right here on OK Blue Jay and giving my opinon on the team. This year is about rebuilding. Vernon Wells is gone, which I’m sure shocked many people, but I look at it as a new beggining. I know many of you are tired of rebuilding, however in order to build a solid team, a GM shouldn’t look for the best players, but instead the right ones. Spring Training will tell a big part for the season and I will update you guys throughout the year. Keep your eye on OK Blue Jay. I’ll be back soon with more udpates.
