2009 Highlights

Began the season in New Hampshire (AA) of the Eastern League, and despite playing in only 87 games led the club in extra base hits (49), home runs (19) and RBI (68)… MORE HARDWARE: Captured the R. Howard Webster Award for New Hampshire as the clubs Most Valuable Player… It represents his 2nd consecutive award, winning with Dunedin (A) last season… Was named an Eastern League Mid-Season and Post-Season All-Star, and also picked up two Player of the Week awards in the Eastern League… WHAT A DAY: On May 8 vs. Connecticut, led the FisherCats to victory with a 5-6 effort, including two doubles, one triple, two home runs and career high eight RBI… It marked one of his two multi-home run games with New Hampshire, and he would go on to record two more with Las Vegas (AAA) in the Pacific Coast League… WELCOME TO VEGAS: Was promoted on July 16 to Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Caost League… Batted .317 for the balance of July, then recorded a .357 average with nine doubles, six home runs and 34 RBI in August… On July 29 recorded seven RBI and posted his 3rd of four multi-home run games… Overall combined to hit .317 with 42 doubles, 27 home riuns and 102 RBI.
