Biography

Shaun Michael Marcum… Married with one child… Graduate of Excelsior Springs (Missouri) High School… Competed in baseball, football and wrestling in high school… In baseball, Marcum was a four-time all-conference selection and he was twice named all-state as he led the Tigers to conference championships in each of his last two seasons… Attended Southwest Missouri State University… Majored in Hotel & Restaurant Administration… In baseball, played two positions in College (SS and P)… Made the Missouri Valley Conference’s All-Star team in 2002 as a utility player; in 2003, he played shortstop and hit seven homers with a .280 batting average.
